a dynamic, versatile performer An established Vancouver jazz artist, Colleen Savage has appeared in venues all across North America. Dynamic and versatile, she has a knack for capturing an audience and filling a dance floor. As a music teacher and workshop facilitator, she is known for innovative programs which support creative community living and focus on the connection between self-expression and well-being. With a bachelor’s degree in English literature and philosophy, and a background in arts, education and small business, Colleen has extensive experience with community-oriented projects that include live performance and workshop production. Every year, she brings her joyful vocal workshops to Vancouver community centres, public schools, continuing education programs and private associations including Vancouver YWCA, Sorrento Swing Camp, the Unitarian Church of Vancouver and Outward Bound. She designs workshops for businesses investing in employee wellness and team-building, and directs the Vancouver community choir Voices Rising. |
